A heartbroken lady has taken to social media to share her disheartening first date experience after a man she met through a dating app rejected her in public upon seeing her.
The young woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, detailed how the man, whom she had been communicating with through the app, told her that she wasn’t the person he had been expecting.
Despite her attempt to introduce herself cheerfully, the man continued to insist that she didn’t match the photos she had shared on the app and accused her of editing her pictures.
The encounter took a further turn for the worse during their dining experience. According to the lady, the man refused to pay for the meal they had together, only agreeing to cover the bill after she mentioned she didn’t have any cash on hand.
