The President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso says he will not hesitate to take on churches which will defy the “No Face Mask, No Entry” policy ahead of the reopening churches amid the COVID-19.
According to the most respected man of God, he is taking it upon to ensure the “no face mask, no entry,” policy to curtail the spread of the virus.
He said;
“… We’re going to ensure the no face mask, no entry policy for all churches.”
He spoke at a press briefing at the Ministry of Information to update the public on the COVID-19 protocols guiding the reopening of churches and mosques.
He also warned church leaders will not protect pastors that breach protocols regulating the opening of churches.
“If any church does not comply, we’ll give them up,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, most churches have declined to open even the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo eased restrictions on churches and mosques in his 10th Coronavirus address to the nation.
“With effect from Friday, June 5, 2020, we will begin stage one of the process of easing restrictions. An abridged format of religious activities can commence.”
