The minority caucus in Parliament has promised to kick out the Agyapa Deal when brought to parliament.
Haruna Iddrisu, Minority Leader in Parliament said they will not give their approval should the deal take the shape of the old shady deal that was presented to parliament last year.
He said;
“Agyapa [coming] back [means] corruption is back. We will not support it. I am very certain in my mind and I remain unconvinced.”
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo hinted on Tuesday, that the controversial Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal that failed to see the light of day in the 7th Parliament will be resurrected in the 8th Parliament.
