A gun was pointed at me to accept the election results – NDC chairman narrates

 NDC last Saturday demonstrated on in Sekondi Takoradi on what they called the EC “twist” of figures in the just ended General Elections to the Advantage of the ruling party and eventually declaring Nana Addo winner.

Leadership of the party led supporters on a protest march from Effiankwanta number 9 through the principal streets of Takoradi.

The supporters were in their party colours with red arm ban, placards with an inscription, Jane Mensah thievery woman, Over voting all over the the country, the EC has been compromised and Nana Addo has destroyed Ghana’s Democracy.

Nana Toku Western Regional Chairman of the NDC told the media that they will use all legal means to press home their demands.

I was in Tarkwa at the collation center and a gun was pointed at me to let my boys accept the results but I refused so we walked out but we told them we will fight it, he said.

Nana Toku also told the media that their protest march will be repplicated in Tarkwa on Tuesday.

We targeted 10 seats which includes Tarkwa and Essikado which we won but it has been taken away from us and we will fight it he assured party supporters.

The NDC are on a nationwide protest blaming the EC of rigging the elections for the ruling party therefore compromising the very institution that is supposed be independent.
