Speaking at the VL Exposure on Tuesday, Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah stretched that the next NDC government will also focus on mentoring over 10,000 businesses annually and this initiative will focus on young people.
Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah was the former Sports Minister under John Dramani Mahama. He is also the immediate past director of elections for the NDC. Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has played major roles in the earthwhile John Dramani Mahama’s Administration and the entire NDC.
The NDC’s manifesto launch last Saturday has sparked a lot of conversation on youth development policies that will benefit them and give them hope. Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah during his speech emphasized that the NDC “Adwumawura” initiative in their manifesto will mentor a minimum of 10,000 Ghanaian businesses annually with emphasis on the youth.
“We have proposed the Adwumawura program that is creating, tracking and mentoring a minimum of 10,000 businesses annually with a special focus on young people because that is how you can transform the economy. A formal sector cannot make that kind of impact”, he concluded.
The NDC is currently touring Ghana and explaining their policies and speaking to Ghanaians to make the right decisions in the upcoming December elections.
