Artiste manager, Mr Logic has stated in his opinion that Hiplife artiste, Bak Tye died out of frustration.
The entertainment critic said on hitz FM that the music industry lacks structures that have resulted in the poor standard of living of most musicians like Bak Tye.
He said that the music industry is no more lucrative which makes stakeholders go out of business.
“Music in Ghana doesn’t pay anymore and if you find yourself in such an industry, you’ll be hit with poverty and stress. Bak Tye died out of the same stress and frustration. May his soul rest in peace.” Mr Logic said on Hitz FM
According to other reports, the Hiplife artiste died of Tuberculosis in an undisclosed hospital.
Bak Tyre as he was also known by one of the few people whose name Ghanaians will always remember in the good books hip life music.
He made a nationwide hit with his song “Yen Pie” which featured Samini then called Batman in 2003. This song landed him shows in and outside the country.
