Cape Coast North Constituents have regretted voting Skirt and blouse – Stephen Kojo Arhin

The Cape Coast North Constituency Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Kojo Arhin has hinted that his constituents especially NPP activists have regretted voting “skirt and blouse” in the last presidential and parliamentary general elections.

According to him, some of the party activists and constituents made a confession to him that they voted skirt and blouse due to undisclosed reasons but they bitterly regretted.
Mr. Kojo Arhin who is known in politics as Wewebi revealed this to the media shortly after the Cape Coast North Constituency delegates conference where he promised to initiate old folks foundation to support the aged in the party and other party activists financially to wipe their sweat.
He said the massive skirt and blouse voting during the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections has not affected only President Nana Addo but Cape Coast North Constituents in general.
Mr.Kojo Arhin again revealed that he has rebuilt the party within Cape Coast North as well as opened a Bank account for all the 15 electoral areas out of his own resources to enable the party quickly get resources for their activities without relying on National or regional funds.

According to Wewebi, due to his commitment, financial support and hardworking to the party, he has been able to secure jobs for the youth in institutions which include the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Army, Police service, as well as Fire Service.
His move is partly due to the lack of an NPP MP in the area.
Touching on the Assembly elections, he said he and his team will not allow two candidates from the same political party to contest for the assembly elections within the constituency.
“The party will disqualify any candidate who will flout the rules and regulations in the party” Mr. Kojo Arhin warned.
Mr. Kojo Arhin called for unity within the party to fight together as one political party to snatch the seat from the NDC as well as help the party to break the 8 to make history in the country.
