In a brief encounter with the media, Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah expressed excitement about how the churches are building schools, hospitals etc and creating jobs for its members and associates.
“When you look at these big churches, they don’t spread only the word of God, they build schools, hospitals and other developmental projects that help a nation to grow and develop. So if any church is organizing any events, we all need to throw our support behind them. Moreso, H.E John Dramani Mahama loves the church and because he loves development he always support them to give them the capacity to undertake these projects”, he stated.
The Presbyterian church alone has about 34 Senior High Schools across the country and over 100 basic schools, 2 universities and about 5 colleges of education.
