COVID-19 FIGHT: We can’t find Hand Sanitizer to Buy – Ghanaians lament

Information reaching Fnn24.com indicates that hand sanitizers are limited in supply in the Ghanaian market as citizens cannot find the item to buy.

Speaking to Fnn24.com, the frustrated citizens have expressed their worries and anxieties over the shortage of the hand sanitizers in the market.

They lamented the adverse impact of the shortage of the item as measures to control the spread of the corona virus in the country.

They lamented;

“… As we speak now, we can’t find common hand sanitizers to buy in the market. We don’t want to believe that the items have run of stock at this critical moment.

Meanwhile,

President Akufo-Addo’s directive to restrict on movements in parts of the Greater Accra Region and Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, as part of measures to control the spread of the coronavirus, starts today, March 30, 2020.

The President in delivery his fourth national televised address on measure to curb the control of deadly Corona virus said beginning from 1:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, the lockdown will restrict the movement people for a period of two weeks subject to review.

-Krowor
-Ledzokuku
-Adentan-Ashiaman

-Ayawaso West
-Ayawaso Central
-Ga North
-Ga West
-Ga South
-Ga Central
Ga East
-Korle-Klottey
-Weija/Gbawe
-Awutu Senya East

In the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area the following areas are affected:
*Kumasi Metropolis
*Asokwa

*Suame
*Old Tafo
*Oforikrom
*Asokore Mampong
*Kwadaso
*Atwima Nwabiagya
*Kwabre East
*Ejisu
*Afigya-Kwabre South
*Bosomtwe
*Atwima Kwanwoma
*Atwima Nwabiagya North

As of Sunday, March 29, 2020, Ghana has recorded 152 coronavirus cases with five deaths.
