“Ghanaians are no longer dying from disease, but from hunger,” Alhaji Sinare lamented, emphasizing that the power to break free from bad governance lies with Central Region residents.
Alhaji Said Sinare, former National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, has issued a stern warning to the Zongo people of Central Region, urging them not to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections. He emphasized that voting for the NPP would be tantamount to endorsing corruption, state capture, misery, and death for all Ghanaians.
Addressing thousands of Zongo residents in Central Region today as part of his two-days Winning the Zongo votes for President John Dramani Mahama Tour, Alhaji Sinare questioned whether their lives have improved under the Dr. Bawumia-led Economic Management Team, citing unfulfilled promises from the 2016 and 2020 elections. He argued that the NPP has plunged Ghana into suffering and advised the people to elect former President John Dramani Mahama to build a prosperous future for all not the selected few as captured in their leaked agyapa document.
The National Chairman of the Zongo Caucus Working Committee promised that the next NDC government would reduce hajj fares, establish Islamic universities, boost Zongo businesses, and provide jobs and scholarships for Muslim youth. He highlighted the benefits of former President Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy for Zongo communities.
Alhaji Sinare also criticized Dr. Bawumia for presiding over soaring fuel prices and ignoring the common man’s plight. He accused the NPP of luring voters with empty promises, forsaking governance ideals, and sowing seeds of poverty, despair, and insecurity in the country since the inception of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo/ Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia led NPP government.
Alhaji Sinare urged the people to reclaim their future by electing President Mahama, choosing prosperity, dignity, and hope over continued misery and despair.
