Jason Gaisie, popularly known as Pappy Kojo, has revealed in a recent interview monitored by Fnnewsroom.com that he nearly took his life when his closest friend Joey B stopped talk to him.
Speaking one-on-one with Berla Mundi on ‘The Late Afternoon Show’ aired on an Accra-based GhOne TV, Pappy Kojo who looked sick said he attempted suicide when Joey B stop talking to him.
She added that he was so depressed that he resorted excessive drinking and smoking and the only thing that kept coming into his mind was to end it all.
“… Berla, I was so depressed when Joey stopped talking to me. I nearly took my life because Joey was all I had. I took to excessive drinking and smoking.”
The ‘Aye Late’ singer is still alive and kicking because of the constant calls from some concerned friends and family members.
He recalled;
“… Some friends and family members stood by me through this tough time. Their constant calls and encouragement stopped me from taking my life.”
