Morrison, who invested a substantial amount of time in the NPP, voiced her dissatisfaction with how she was treated during the primaries. She disclosed that certain party insiders actively worked against her efforts, resulting in her loss of the party’s endorsement.
She now alleges that the NPP is pursuing legal actions aimed at stopping her campaign, but she remains resolute. “This injunction is simply another effort to silence me, but I refuse to give in,” she asserted firmly.
Morrison recounted facing public attacks from NPP supporters who have allegedly spread falsehoods about her. “The NPP has been attacking me publicly, sending their supporters to insult and spread lies about me, but I know the truth. And if they push me further, I will expose what I know about this government—from the presidency all the way down,” she threatened.
“I was part of this administration during COVID-19, and I have seen what went on behind closed doors. If they think I’m going to sit quietly while they played these games, they are mistaken. I’ll make sure Ghanaians know exactly what’s going on with their leadership,” she warned.” she declared.
Despite the challenges posed by her former party, Cynthia Mamle Morrison is resolute in her independent candidacy and vows to bring to light what she describes as “the truth” about the NPP’s internal dealings.
