The NPP Vice Presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 General elections, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO, has revealed that the party sabotaged the Presidential aspirations of Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking during an interview with Kennedy Agyapong seated right beside him, NAPO said he had told the media mogul that he was Ghana’s Silvio Berlusconi, referring to the former Italian Prime Minister who owned many media houses.
According to him, NPP leaders made sure that Agyapong could not win the primaries because with his media empire behind him he would become too powerful if he came into office.
NAPO made his comments in a joking manner but Kennedy Agyapong seated beside him certainly did not find his comments amusing.
