President of the Republic of Kenya Dr William Samoei Ruto is continuing to face sharp criticism from different quarters of the society following current issues that are bewildering the country. The ongoing demonstrations and protests by the youthful Generation Z has indeed shaken him to the core with the end result of the same still remaining unknown.

From dropping the controversial Finance Bill of 2024 to dissolving his Cabinet among other measures, the Head of State is continuing to receive more barbs and blows as the first in command of the Republic of Kenya.

It has now emerged that Bunge La Mwananchi President Francis Awino has now challenged the President to resign and call for a fresh election as it is evident that Kenyans have lost confidence in his leadership.

Awino has given the President 14 Days To resign failure to which he would initiate a popular initiative and referendum to compel him to comply with the current demands and grievances by a section of Kenyans.

He further went on and urged the President to take full responsibility for the recent killings in the country as back stops with him as the President of the Republic of Kenya.

Bunge La Mwananchi is a popular group in the country as it is an independent forum for Kenyans across the political divide to air their views on myriads of issues concerning the country.
