None of the workers of Zoomlion company, the leading waste management company, contracted the COVID-19 disease upon the massive involvement of the workers in the fight against the disease.
This is due to measures the company put in place to ensure that the workers especially spraying gangs are always protected.
The Central Regional Public Jobs Manager of the Company, Mr. Robert Kingsley Ayemin dropped this hint to the media shortly after the annual thanksgiving service for the Zoomlion workers to thank God for his protection as well as seeing them through the year of 2020.
He thanked the spraying gangs and other staff from operations and communications who risked their lives and worked so tirelessly during the nationwide disinfection exercise.
Mr. Kingsley Ayemin expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders, government agencies including Municipal, Metropolitan and District Chief Assemblies (MMDAs) among others for their unflinching support to improve the Sanitation conditions in the country.
He again thanked President Nana Addo for his support to the private sector particularly for the confidence reposed in local companies such as Zoomlion Ghana limited leading to the establishment of 16 integrated Recycling and composting plants and waste water treatment plants across the country.
“Today we are witnessing a remarkable improvement in the Sanitation sector of the country, through various initiatives of the government and the President’s personal commitment to the clean Ghana Agenda” Mr. Kingsley Ayemin stated.
Mr. Kingsley Ayemin stated that Zoomlion would like to make a commitment to ensuring that every household will have a dustbin in 2021 to further attain the President’s clean Ghana Agenda.
Some Pastors of the Church of Pentecost prayed for the President of Ghana, the nation, stakeholders of Zoomlion and Josepong Group of Companies and for a peaceful 2020 General Elections.
