Teacher of Ullo Senior High School in Jirapa Only Identified as Jones has expressed concern after the was arrested and sent to the Jirapa Municipal Police Headquarters Today 20th August 2024.
In an Interview with the Teacher who spoke in about trending national issue reported on the 19th of August 2024, he indicated that the Pictures were posted on his school’s Official Platform for the concern to be addressed by Management.
“I snapped those pictures and posted them on the school’s official platform, I didn’t put them on social media or on any other unofficial platforms.”He said The Police were after someone who commented that the Pictures must go viral.
“.. Police were after someone who commented that the pictures have to go viral when I shared them on the school’s Platform.
“He also stated individuals involved in his Arrest.
“..The MCE was part of the people that arrested me, my Headmaster was part and other Staff, They said it will proceed to court, i didn’t put the pictures outside the school platform per the GES Rules, i shared it with management on the platform, the platform was created by the School, currently I’m a stranger here, I’m from the South, I have nobody to depend on, I’m not the one behind the pictures going viral, The whole of Today I haven’t Eaten or drank water as at 3pm”.
The Jirapa Municipal Police Commander is yet to Speak to Upper West Media Team after contacting him.
