King of Africa rap Sarkodie has silenced Yaa Pono after the latter released a diss song for him this week.
Since Sarkodie dropped BRAG off the Championship mixtape, rappers are going at each other lyrically to show how talented they are. After the beef between Lyrical Joe and Dremo cooled down, Yaa Pono has also ignited his powers and is ready to start another.
Yaa Pono released “STATEMENT” and stated that he is the owner of Tema. He also went ahead to say that “your favorite is not from Tema” referring to Sarkodie who always raise the Tema flag high.
History recalls that Yaa Pono, Sarkodie, Dr. Cryme, etc were fast-rising rappers from Tema before Sarkodie became an icon leaving some of them behind.
In a new song “Hate” by Jaybad which featured Sarkodie, he took his time to address a few things and told Yaa Pono how he survived the street when he had nobody.
He also said, “due to insults and envy, your face has aged like an old man, how would people respect you?
