Shatta Wale held his faith online over the weekend to entertain fans after coronavirus halted all major activities across the world.
The show went on well despite the president announcing that not more than 25 people should be seen at a gathering. With his band boys, camera guys and himself, the dancehall gladiator was able to perform from 8pm to 9pm without any difficulty or technical issues. He has often been criticized that he is not good at using live band music and he proved them wrong again.
Speaking to Nana Kwame Gyan on No.1 FM 105.3mhz Sunday entertainment show dubbed No.1 Showbiz, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo outlined the importance of Wale in the creative sector citing that his emergence is a blessing to Ghana music. According to him, the young man has set something in motion which Nigerians will be monitoring. Nigerians will steal Shatta Wale’s idea and make it more useful because Ghanaians don’t appreciate what they have.
The country is currently under partial lockdown. We pray for this pandemic to cease for our normal activities to resume. Congratulations to Shatta Wale for such an amazing initiative.
