US-based Ghanaian Journalist, Kevin Ekow Kevin Taylor finds it so absurd and needless for a rapper like Sarkodie to reprimand Sammy Gyamfi over George Floyd-EC cartoon.
The National Communications Officer for opposition NDC has faced severe backlash on social media over a George Floyd-EC cartoon he posted on Twitter.
The photo, which makes reference to the murder of an African-American man, George Floyd, is in protest to the Electoral Commission’s compilation of a new voters’ roll.
But, Sarkodie who sees Sammy Gyamfi’s photo as a mockery to the memory of the late George Floyd who was suffocated to death by a Police Officer in the United States of America.
Against this background, the rapper took to his Twitter page to chide the firebrand politician asking him to retract and pull down the image.
He tweeted;
“Naa my brother we all go wrong sometimes… I will believe your intention wasn’t to joke with these serious n very sensitive issues, but you still wrong just do what’s right…. retract n take it down”
Shockingly, Kevin Taylor based in the US also thinks Sarkodie has no moral right to question Sammy Gyamfi whatsoever.
Kevin also took to his Facebook wall to blast Sarkodie asking who he is.?
Interestingly, some social media users who are sympathizers of the opposition NDC did not go light with rapper Sarkodie who is mostly tagged as a hypocrite and stingy man.
They have joined forces with Kevin Taylor to lambaste him on all social media handles calling him all sorts of names regardless.
They even asked where he was when innocent people were being beaten and shot at the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election where Hon. Lydia Alhassan was elected on the ticket of the ruling NPP.
Meanwhile, other celebrities have equally condemned Sammy Gyamfi to do the needful and apologize to Ghanaians and the world at large.
