President Nana Akufo-Addo in his latest Covid-19 updates says all Tertiary schools in the country will resume the normal academic year in January 2021.

He said;

“SHS 2 and JHS 2 students are back in school, as are some students in tertiary institutions and colleges. Indeed, the academic year for new and continuing University students will commence from January 2021.”

Schools were closed down since March 15, 2020, in the heat of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, schools were reopened in phases for final year students as well as continuing students to complete the academic year.
