Dear Reeka Wemah,
So saddened to hear about your loss of your beloved husband, Kwadwo Waife, kindly accept my deepest condolences and assuredly, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
As you find yourself in the category of widowhood, the word of God (Bible)must become your best book to read, memorize, and draw inspiration from.
There are special blessings and promises God being faithful has outlined in the Holy Bible for a grieving widow and the fatherless.
Below are some Scriptures you need in times like this;
Isaiah 54:4-5
“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.
Psalm 68:5
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
Psalm 146:9
The Lord protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
Proverbs 15:25
The Lord will tear down the house of the proud, But He will establish the boundary of the widow.
Jeremiah 49:11
“Leave your orphans behind, I will keep them alive;
And let your widows trust in Me.”
Jeremiah 22:3-5
Thus says the Lord, “Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor. Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”
1 Timothy 5:5
She who is truly a widow left all alone has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day,
Malachi 3:5
“Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.
Deuteronomy 10:18
He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
Reeka Wemah, just be rest assured and hopeful that this one too shall pass away.
