Zylofon has been a revelation to the entertainment industry for the last few years.
The involvement of Zylofon art fund, Zylofon Cash, my zylofon dream etc have been a scintillating factor in boosting the success of Ghana’s showbusiness. The signing of some known musicians made it more trustworthy as to what they are embarking on.
Aside the music, Zylofon art fund was set to sponsor movies and help rejuvenate Ghana’s movie industry. An example was “Adabraka” story. Prior to the premier of “The Devil’s Backyard”, Blackman, who is the director of the movie has raises some concerns that are debatable.
According to Blackman, Zylofon should have set up an independent body to review works of various people before releasing cash for production work. ” Most of the people Zylofon gave the money are the same old faces who we are tired of, If an independent body was given the nod to select and short list people, I believe there industry would have been up and running by now”, he said.
It was announced by Sokrates Sarfo on Hitz 103.9mhz that agents will be seen in town to sell new movies by these actors but we didn’t see them until the closure of Zylofon Media.
Blackman will have his movie The Devil’s backyard premiers on 6th March 2019 at the Global Cinemas-Weija with a rate of Gh¢30.00. Come and see if he was qualified to be given money with his new master piece.
