The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) in collaboration with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that parts of the country will experience a power outage from the 17th March to 21st March 2021.
According to the Company, the planned blackout is to enable the company to undertake some maintenance work after a heavy wind destroyed one of its transformers.
In a statement, GRIDCo listed the affected areas which include Akwatia, Kade, Asamankese, Akim-Oda, and surrounding areas.
