Allotey Jacobs, the prodigal member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will be very easy for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in 2024.
He stated clearly in an interview on an Accra-based Happy FM monitored by FNN24 that the NPP should select Vice-President Bawumia as its flagbearer in 2024 for a one-touch victory.
He said;
“Let see what will happen in 2024. That will be a defining moment for our democracy. Unless the NPP make that mistake of not bringing him [Bawumia] as their leader.”
He added;
“With that, they are bound to lose the elections. I am not a member of the NPP but I want to state that fact.”
Meanwhile other fractions in the NPP are seriously lobbying for Alan Kyeremanten to lead the party in 2024.
