Patrick Mensah Nartey lauds Mayor of Accra, urges young ladies to emulate her
Ghanaian business mogul and political figure Hon. Patrick Mensah Nartey has applauded the Mayor of Accra for her contribution to ensuring Accra bounce back to its former glory under her leadership.
Hon. Elizabeth Sackey became the first female mayor of Accra in September 2021. She has a Bachelor of Science in public administration and a certificate in marketing. Before she was mayor, she served as the deputy minister for the Greater Accra Region and as a Member of Parliament.
Under her leadership, the mayor has been able to set an unprecedented record after becoming the first female mayor of the biggest city in Ghana.

Speaking at a dialogue section between the youth and the Mayor, Hon Patrick Mensah Nartey was full of praise for the outstanding woman. “Most of you will bear me witness, sometimes your national service, when it becomes crucial and you don’t know where to do your national service, our honorable mayor finds a place for you, she also recommends most of you when there are opportunities” he added.
He made these statements during a dialogue section with the youth.
