Ghanaian Afropop/Afrobeat singer, Lipssy Brew has changed her stage name to Lipssy J, a step in the right direction.
In a press statement signed and copied to Ghface.com, her new management FNN Music has explained why the need for the rebranding.
According to the statement, the musician’s new name Lipssy J has the international touch to better project her music and image simultaneously.
The statement further explained that the J which stands for her first name Jamila is also a bid to keep her identity and culture.
FNN Music, on the positive side, has reposted much confidence in the ability and talent of Lipssy J with the hopes that she will take Ghana music to the next level.

Jamila Seidu, known professionally as Lipssy J, formerly Lipssy Brew, is a Ghanaian-born Afrobeat singer and songwriter.
Born and raised in Alajo – Accra, she started singing to her family and friends at a very tender age.
Lipssy J launched her professional career in music in early 2019 and a few months down the line she has won the admiration of the youth globally.
