Celebrated musicians Paedae and Mugeez who teamed up to form R2BEES have made some interesting revelations and why they are not focused on Awards.
In a video cited online, Paedae whoneas speaking to Kwake Dadzie stated emphatically that R2BEES sees it as a blessings to be paid for shows, get streams and also get brand endorsements looking at where they come from. “Growing up athe life of as tough, what t OK eat s a whole struggle. This life is heaven, for us to be paid for life shows, how much we are getting from streaming, endorsements”.
According to him, they won’t kill themselves for a plastic thing (plaque) someone imported from China. “When you win an award, is pride and anything that has pride kills”
He further said instead of celebrating, the musicians go home sad because not Al of them will win hence they don’t see why awards should exist.
R2BEES were nominated at the BET Awards in 2013 and were also awarded the VGMA Artiste of the Year in 2013. The duo has over 20 nominations and has won about 9 mine of them.
