There is a serious hardship in Ghana, let’s apologise for economic hardship before we campaign.
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to confront the reality of Ghana’s economic challenges head-on in their 2024 election campaign.
Speaking at the launch of the NPP’s Ablekuma South Constituency election campaign, Kennedy Agyapong emphasized the need for humility and unity to secure victory in the December 7 polls.
He advised the party to apologize for past mistakes and acknowledge the hardships faced by Ghanaians, rather than ignoring them.
He stressed that only by showing empathy and a willingness to learn from past errors can the NPP hope to convince voters to support their flagbearer,
Dr. Bawumia.
The outspoken MP urged party members to rally behind Dr. Bawumia, promising collective support for his presidential bid.
Agyapong’s candid remarks have sparked debate about the NPP’s approach to the 2024 elections, with many calling for greater accountability and transparency from the party.
